​​Sample ECO - To reallocate the loading pattern of different transformers

Present Status
Presently there are 8 numbers of transformers in the plant. Most of the transformers are underloaded.

Modification Proposed
Transformers operate with maximum efficiency when they are loaded at 50 to 70%. The transformers are loaded very much below the rated kVA i.e. 359 against 1250. It is recommended to install a lower capacity transformer of 750 kVA. The transformer (750 kVA) can be used for this purpose.

The annual savings in reallocating the loading pattern of transformer in the plant is Rs.7,410.
